Sediment filters in the seawater inlet protect the high-pressure pump and membrane from particles in the seawater.

The standard size is 9 7/8" x 2.5" in 20 and 5 microns.

In difficult conditions, the 150 micron mesh filter can also be installed upstream.

The 9 7/8" x 5" Big Blue filters feature an enlarged filter surface area and increase service life.

Carbon filters prevent chlorine that may be present in the tank from entering the membrane during fresh water rinsing, which would damage the membrane. Carbon filters must be replaced every 3 months, otherwise chlorine separation can no longer be guaranteed.
